E-commerce website Myntra is set to change its logo after the complaint was lodged by a Mumbai-based activist Naaz Patel, who works at the Avesta Foundation NGO. That the company’s signage was “insulting and offensive” towards women.
Naaz filed the complaint in December last year, demanding to remove the logo and calling for action to be taken against Myntra. Patel alleged that the old logo resembled a naked woman.
The police followed up with the complaint and met with the officials working at the company. Within a month the logo will be replaced, they had stated that.
