On Wednesday social ecommerce platform ShopG closed a $1.5 million seed funding round led by Orios Venture Partners and RPSG Ventures.
In this round, Angel investors including Ex-Flipkart Prasanth Nair, CEO of Blackbuck Rajesh Yabaji and also former CEO of Taxi for Sure Raghunandan G were participated.
To expand its community leader network in lower-tier cities, build a supply of small regional brands, scale its technology, this fund will help ShopG.
The startup partners with regional brands offer good quality products and give them a platform to showcase their products. Presently from $2 billion, ShopG expects to continue seeing exponential growth to become a $25 billion market by 2025.
